Orange Group : Portugal
This multinational telco received a strong HTML5 web app to improve visibility of quality gaming content and strengthen key distribution channels.
Our Solution
We delivered both a Web App and a Client-side Hybrid App.
Initially launched in Portugal, it is now being released in other OpCo‘s across the group. In addition, we are currently localizing the product for Poland, and investigating the feasibility of building a fully native version of the app.
The Requirement
Orange Group is a multinational telecommunications corporation with headquarters in France, the largest in Europe and second largest in the world. It currently employs 180,000 people (half outside France) and has 221 million customers worldwide.
The Content Division of Orange Group wanted to increase its retailing of mobile games on Android devices by improving the discovery of good quality content.
The strategy was to produce a games portal “GameStar” dedicated to the gamer segment that will drive traffic to Orange’s distribution channels. Game Star is an HTML5 web application, and includes a Hybrid client app.
